DID YOU KNOW?!
Clear Lake Bridge Club is currently the only Club in the Greater Houston area offering Saturday and Sunday FACE-TO-FACE Open games.
Be a gracious host and invite some of your Houstonian friends to play with us some afternoon...especially now that summer is looming... the afternoons are a great time to be indoors!
Remember: Players DO NOT have to be Members to play at CLBC. Visitors pay an extra $1.00 (so $6.00) but all are welcome. Also...visitors must have completed the Covid Vaccine regimen.
Return of the Wednesday
afternoon 199er Game!
Our first 199er game....SIX Tables!
We look forward to seeing our 199ers every Wed afternoon!
All players with less than 200 masterpoints every Wednesday at 2:00 PM!
What is Grass Roots FUNd?
May is Grass Roots FUNd Month for face-to-face clubs! During this month, any (or all!) sanctioned club sessions can be run as a special Grass Roots FUNd game.
Funds raised during these special games are returned to each individual district so that they can support and promote their local Grand National Teams and North American Pairs events.
To further support the Grass Roots Funds, the virtual clubs will also have an event – Grass Roots Weekend!
Simply play in your usual virtual club game on May 14-15 (Saturday and Sunday), and you’ll win double black points while also supporting your district’s local efforts to promote and fund Grand National Teams and North American Pairs events
When you can't get back to the table and are selecting an online game, please make our Choose Houston Games you priority.
Why? Because when you Choose Houston all the club revenue for the games stay with our Houston Clubs. We hope you feel the way feel: keeping our Houston Clubs financially healthy supports our ongoing bridge community. It is the strength of our local community that sustains tournaments, beginning bridge players/teachers and the cordiality of our bridge friendships developed while playing together at the table.
Choose Houston games are a cooperative arrangement between Apple, Bridge Club of Houston and Clear Lake Bridge Club to bring you a great selection of Virtual Club games 7 days a week. Click the link below to see the schedule:
